You'll be over the moon when your first book appears! I certainly was, and many books later I started helping upcoming authors to fulfil their own dreams. One of the first was my son Robin Triggs. Now a successful novelist, he's on hand to give specialist help with fiction. Whatever you write - biography, maybe, or books for children -
you'll have your own questions! We're based in Norfolk, UK, but help authors throughout the UK and Ireland, giving answers and guidance at the pace they choose (or their families choose!).
Feel free to send us samples of your work whenever you're ready. Our friendly feedback will boost your skills as well as improving the work in hand.
Whether fact or fiction, your characters are your greatest assets. As well as their obvious traits and quirks they'll have personal secrets and challenges. Real or imagined, your characters are your key resource and we'll help you to bring them fully alive!
Some authors like us to check the fine detail, especially prior to publication. The following example shows the start of a novel with our 'close-up' comments on the right.
Our tips and tweaks helped this smiling writer to polish her work and attract a leading publisher - not a 'vanity' outfit that charges authors for printing dead stock but a real one that put her book on the market and paid her for every copy sold.
