Helping Authors to Get their Writing
'Publisher Perfect'
Our You-Shaped Courses
- editorial and publishing advice to put new writers on the map!
You'll be over the moon when your first book appears! I certainly was, and many books later I started helping upcoming authors to fulfil their own dreams. One of the first was my son Robin Triggs. Now a commercially-published novelist, he's ready to lend his helping hand with adult fiction.
Whatever you write - biography, maybe, or books for children -

we can help you to build on small beginnings or make what's already good even better! We're based in Norfolk, UK, but guide authors throughout the UK and Ireland, giving answers and advice at the pace they choose (or their families choose!).

Fact or fiction, real or imagined, your characters are your greatest asset. Their traits and quirks, secrets and challenges can bring them uniquely alive for your readers!
Our practised eyes spot simple opportunities. For example, here's the start of a novel with our comments and suggested tweaks on the right. We praise how the character Jason comes over but suggest changing 'Are' to 'Aren't' in line three to make his impatience more intense.

Attention to detail can make all the difference. Our tips and tweaks helped this smiling writer to polish her work and attract a leading publisher - not a 'vanity' outfit that charges authors for printing dead stock but a real one that put her book in the bookshops and paid her for every copy sold.

'How grateful I am for all your insights,'
wrote a debut author who sought my help with her children's novel. Another new author wrote as follows:

We've loved sharing fun, fact and fear with our readers - see a list of our books - and we're eager to help upcoming authors with their own Big Adventure. Like A and others you'd simply pay a small agreed sum for each bit of guidance, putting cost and pace at your command! You start when you like and you stop when you like!
